# Read Course Material

Lessons, notes and handouts your teacher has published, one page per subject.

* Read it again after the lesson, in your own time
* Download the handouts instead of copying them
* Everything for a subject is in one place

## How to Open It

1. Click **Learning** in the menu on the left.
2. Click your class.
3. The **Courses** tab lists the subjects of your class. Click one.

The page shows each topic your teacher has published, in the order they set.

## What Is on the Page

* A **topic** is a chapter or a week's work. It has a short summary under its name.
* Under it are **sections** — the material itself, in the order you should read it.
* A section may carry an **Open link** to a video or a page elsewhere.
* **Attachments** at the bottom of a topic are the handouts. Click one to open it, or use the download button to keep a copy.

## What to Do If...

**The course page is empty**

Your teacher has not published anything yet. Material they are still writing is not visible to you.

**A topic you read last week is gone**

Your teacher can unpublish a topic to rework it. It comes back when they publish it again.

**A file will not open**

Pictures, videos and PDFs open in the page. Anything else downloads — open it with the app on your device that handles that kind of file.

## Tips

💡 Course material and assignments are separate tabs. Material is what you read; **Assignments** is what you hand in.
