# Link to Your School

Connect a cloud account to a student or staff profile in your school's database.

* This connects their login to their actual record
* Without this, they can log in but won't see their data
* An administrator does this once for each person

### How to Link an Account (For Administrators)

1. **Open the Profile** In eSkool desktop, go to **Students** or **Staff** and select the person.
2. **Start the Link** Find the cloud account section and choose to link a portal account.
3. **Enter Their Email** Enter the email they registered with on the eSkool web portal.

4. **Confirm** Confirm the link. The person can now log in to the portal and see their data.
