# Reset Password

Recover from a forgotten administrator password.

* Forgot your password and can't log in? This is your last resort
* **⚠️ Warning:** You'll have to delete everything and start fresh
* Make sure you have a backup first

**⚠️ Warning:** This deletes all your eSkool data permanently.

### How to Reset

1. **Close eSkool completely.**
2. **Find the data folder:** Open File Explorer and go to: `C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\.io\Server` (You may need to show hidden files)

3. **Delete the Server folder.** This permanently removes your database and all data.
4. **Restart eSkool.** It launches as a fresh install. Create a new administrator account. If you have a backup, restore it now.
