# Import Students

Add many students at once from an Excel file.

* Don't type 200 students one by one—upload them all at once
* Perfect for the start of the year or switching from another system
* Less typing means fewer mistakes

### 1. Open Database Settings

From the main dashboard, go to **Settings** > **Database**.

### 2. Upload the Excel File

Click to select an Excel file from your computer.

### 3. Map the Columns

Match each column in your Excel file to the correct field in eSkool (e.g., "First Name" to "First Name").

### 4. Import

Click **Import**. eSkool creates a record for each student in your file.
